Welcome to London!

Back in 2004, I visited London for the first time and was blown away with all its many marvels.

As a born and bred Australian, we have nothing like London in our huge big country, so this amazing city that is well over 1,000 years of age was a delight to me.

Everywhere I turned and looked, I saw HISTORY! 200 years here, 500 years there. Heck, we even had a meal in a pub that was nearly 950 years old! Given Australia was first colonised by the English less than 300 years ago, a 950 year old pub was like landing on an alien planet for the first time!

Anyway, while in London, I took heaps of photos and did my best to see all the obvious tourist attractions I could fit into my busy schedule, but when I came home, I didn’t want to forget my experience, so not long after, I purchased this domain name with the intention of building a site around my London experiences.

For a variety of reasons, that plan never quite came to fruition, and it’s only now - close to 4 years later - that I’m finally able to start putting that plan into action.

This site is not just about my visit to London and the things I saw and did, but it’s also been built to help other people planning on visiting to get an idea of some of the great things to do, see and experience.
